Joey Essex and Dapper Laughs headline a Misfits Boxing card in a welterweight main event on Saturday at Copper Bank Arena in London. Both fighters enter off wins, having won their last fights in the Misfits Boxing ring, setting up a main event between two names moving in the right direction inside the ring.
The card runs on DAZN starting at 1:30 p.m. ET, with a stacked undercard built around Misfits' usual mix of influencer and novelty bouts. Among them is a survivor tag matchup featuring Andrew Howson, Joey Knight, Lil CraCra and Charles Bennett, plus a tag team bout pairing Lil T and Cracky Tokky against Nitboy and Kane West.
Who Else Is Fighting on the Essex vs. Laughs Card
The main card also features a notable coaching matchup outside the Essex-Laughs headliner. Alex Pereira's coach Plinio Cruz makes his Misfits debut when he squares off against Gary Olive, the coach of his previous opponent, the injured Chase DeMoor. That bout adds a layer of combat sports intrigue to a card otherwise built around internet personalities, giving fight fans a reason to watch beyond the headline attraction.
Other main card bouts include Ambush Buzzworl vs. Swarms, James Collins vs. Big Stacks, Jordan McCann vs. Mo Dean, and Carla Jade vs. Erica Night, rounding out a typically eclectic Misfits lineup.
What It Means for the Main Event
Both Essex and Laughs arrive with momentum rather than question marks, having won their most recent outings under the Misfits banner. That makes the welterweight main event a genuine step-up test for whichever man can impose his style first. Misfits cards tend to draw wide betting interest given the crossover audience, and a bout between two fighters coming off wins typically trades closer than one involving a debutant, so expect the market to treat this as a competitive pick rather than a lopsided favorite situation once odds circulate.
